A Spanish Expression

In the language course we learn Spanish expressions. Expression are an important part of learning a language, and according to my teachers they are used a lot in Spanish and if you don’t know them, you get lost pretty fast. (As if I didn’t have enough reasons for getting lost already… )

Anyway, I thought I’d share some of these with you, cause they are just too funny. They don’t make sense at all. Ok, in Norwegian, we also have a few that are hard to translate, that don’t give direct meaning, but what I am learning here is just … weird.

HABLAR POR LOS CODOS = TALK WITH THE ELBOWS.

So, what do you think? Do you usually talk a lot with your elbows?

It simply means to talk a lot … a lot a lot a lot.
Go figure!
