My neighborhood

Thought I’d show you a little of my neighborhood, like I did in Málaga.
Like I mentioned before,  the flat is quite well located. It takes me about 15 minutes to walk to Plaza Catalunya (the main square in the city centre) and 15 minutes walking to the beach. Couldn’t be much better!

The nearest metro-station is about 150 meters away from my entrance-door, as well as the local trains station, and the main bus station. The train & metro stop is ARC DE TRIOMF, and the metro running past this station is the Red line, a quite centric line cutting through the city centre that is well communicated with other lines.

Like the name of the station reveals, this is the area of Arc de Triomf, the
Triumphal Arch of Barcelona, with a beautiful open walkway lined with palm trees.

The arch is just a block away from my building and I pass it every time I head towards the centre.
Love it!

The walkway leads down to El Parque de la Ciutadella, Barcelona's lungs, a big beautiful park.

On one of the corners just off the walkway, lies the bulding of the Palau de la Justicia. One of those beautiful old buildings just lying there as if nothing.

New and old, modern and traditional, notice the reflections in the windows of this building:

On the way from my building to the metro/train/busstation there is another park:

My next door neighbor is a tapas bar, and I have two supermarkets and a farmacy within 5 minutes walk. The area is safe and peaceful and I'm quite happy to have ended up here for now!
