MANÁ on tour in Spain

So, finally I got the photos from the concert from Maria! I thought it would be better to write about the it when I had photos to show too.

I was blown away! Although there were lots of songs I didn’t know, I enjoyed them all just as much. And they played all my favourites from their newest album!
This group is so good. They are producing good, varied music, and the musicians are all doing a great job.

Music is so important to me, I feel like my soul comes alive a little extra when I'm exposed to good music, and I have already gotten a few more of Maná’s albums, cause this is definitely a group worth listening to, in my opinion. Good music just give me such an incredible happy-energy!

Their stage-show was great, I really love when groups do a little extra like light effects and visual effects at concerts, not just stand there and sing sort of. There was constantly something happening on stage with these long-haired Mexicans and there was just not a chance to get bored (but how would you, with listening to Maná live anyway?)

Fire!

Something to do with Virgin Mary and a cathedral (I think hihi)

"Vuela libre paloma" Something about setting your love free I think!

The concert lasted almost 3 hours!! So great when groups take it all out and give you good value for money.
Just checked their web and from this date they have only two more concerts in Europe before touring South America, the 23rd and 24th in Gran Canaria, and Tenerife respectively. If you're near, I'd recommend you go see them!!

By the way, I've found out that a great way to learn some Spanish (or any language I believe) is reading the lyrics of the songs while listening to them, cause just listening I have NO chance of understanding a single word. And from what I can make of it, I think Maná not only have good music, but good lyrics too!

  1. That's kind of how I learned English too! I would look for all the lyrics translations and sing along! Much funnier than regular classes!:)

  2. That's so great that they put on such a long show! I'm learning German at the moment, I'll have to start listening to some German bands. It sounds like a much more fun way to learn! :)

  3. Yeah, it's a fun way to learn words, and also learn to correctly pronounce words!

Go find some good German bands, Many Colours of Happiness and get learning :D
