Bull fights


There is a bull ring in Málaga, and I gather that it’s a big part of the culture here. I have no intention of going to see a bull fight, I would probably cry and be in pain myself seeing them hurt the bull that basically doesn’t stand a chance. But I must admit that although I hate the idea of it, it’s kind of fascinating to see how something is so important to someone’s culture (and it being so far from my own). 







The bullring was constructed in 1874 so it’s been around for some time… It has room for a little more than 9000 spectators and is 52m broad.

  1. Jeg trodde faktisk at de hadde sluttet med tyrefekting nå. Mente at det var blitt forbudt. Men det var vel kanskje bare en ønskedrøm??

    Utenom det så syns jeg faktisk tyrefekterarenaen så veldig fin ut ;-)

  2. Jeg har undersøkt litt, og visstnok er det forbudt i noen deler av landet. Men her sør lever tradisjonen i beste velgående...

    Helt enig at på en eller annen måte så er det noe sånn litt majestetisk (eller noe) over tyrefekterarenaen, litt eksotisk kanskje. :)
